Did you tell her that she has the dubious distinction of having played one of theee absolute very worst live sets I have ever seen, and certainly the worst set by a touring act I saw in the entirety of the 1990s?

Wow, was Ethyl Meatplow a shit band.

(I'm glad she moved on)

She's certainly progressed.

She was awesome when i saw her a few month ago. She had her arm in cast and played guitar. That was nice to look at.
Very intense show

ha ha. xiu xiu was ok. i mean they are a good band no doubt but they don't appeal to me-- while in concept i appreciate their manic depressive rhythm & dynamic changes, in practice they leave me a bit cold. what i mean is that it's too spastic to give me sustained enjoyment ha ha ha. then i thought if his cousin/bandmate took over as singer i'd like it more, but then it wouldn't be xiu xiu as we know it, would it? sorry, i dont have much to report,,, oh yeah, i was tickled by the wide assortment of weird instruments they used-- a music box thingy, a weird accordionlike box on legs, various unusual-sounding percussions, etc-- as i said, a good band. but my heart was beating for carla. :D
