he did a poster (actually more than one) for their gigs, maybe they liked his work and asked to do more sy related things, a la savage pencil?
Or they're asking art guys who collaborated with them to submit stuff for an art project?

Maybe it's going to be a box of prints... a retrospective of artwork from their career, like that showing they had in the SILVER ROCKETS/COOL THINGS DVD?
