I widely prefer Pig Lib to Face the Truth and Real Emotional Trash.

yeh, well... i just haven't listened to Pig Lib that much

In my opinion, the songs, the arrangements, the melodies, Malkmus' voice,... are better on Pig Lib. And I think it's more consistent. But it's just my opinion.
Anyway it can't be as good as any Pavement albums.
