that's taking things a little bit far, it's not like the fans didn't get anything out of him, he enriched their lives, he doesn't owe them anything, and at least he's taken the time to tell people that he won't be signing anything, rather than just chucking it all in the bin. if anything it was decent of him to indulge his fans for this long by signing whatever crap those weirdos send him almost 40 years after his band broke up.
