Post yr thoughts about this amazing band. i'm going through a THE EX phase. i own all their stuff, so great.
I love the discs with TOM CORA
and more contemporary stuff like STARTERS ALTERNATORS or DIZZY SPELLS

They are a band that has honestly remained great throughout thier entire career, but "Jogger and Smoggers" and "Pokkherrie" will be remembered as audaciously brilliant. In my mind, those and the second two Crass records are the most innovative and unique things to have ever come out of the more traditional punk bands. I'm stoned I'll have more to say later, I'm glad you made this thread though.

I tried getting into them, but they don't do all too much for me. Still pretty good, though. I think I like Scrabbling at the Lock best.

They put an awesome show when I saw 'em this summer.

The Ex is a band that I seriously can see reason for everyone to like them. Whether youre into Punk or Hardcore, more Noisey abrasive Rock, Rock, Free Improvised Music, Quirky pop tunes, that band's palette is huge. John Olson was wearing this sweatshirt with The Ex patches on it when he was playing a Graveyards show, if he ever Ebays that motherfucker I want it.

I just listened to a couple of songs on Youtube.
They sound quite DC-ish , which I don't like much.

of all the records i've heard of them, i have love each one of them; and they were fan-fucking-tastic live; one of the best live bands i've ever seen.
