The Beatles Christmas Album

I can't believe nobody's cashed in on this and officially re-released it. Good or not, it would sell. I haven't heard it, though I'd really like to hear a copy. Anyone have it? I know Atari's a big Beatles collector. Anyone else? |
Yeah, these were little jokey spoken messages to fans thanking them and wishing them a merry christmas. My local record shop had somehow aquired one of the original flexi-discs, which I had the priviledge of having a good look at, the artwork on the one I held was AMAZING, really psychedelic. Unfortunately as he was selling it for way over 100 pounds it wasn't something I could take away with me.

I'd really like to hear this collection. Seems like a cool collectible. Again, I'm surprised Apple hasn't capitalized off it.

Maybe they'll release these recordings of the Beatles telling jokes and singing jingles on the same disc as their 15 minute avant-garde noise epic...
|
haha.
|
since the topic of christmas and beatles came up, no better excuse

Dipset! I'm gonna get the new (that's right, 2nd) Dipset Xmas album. :)

Ha.
Awesome. |
I've downloaded them before. The 1968 one was really trippy. I posted a link to it on youtube once.
|
The Beatles could get awfully silly.
|
Aw, an old teacher made me a tape of this in junior high.
Havent listened to it in ages! I love how they get weirder...and weirder...with every year. |
If it's the same as the bootleg I have, it was a fan club only effort, made up primarily of silly thank-yous and Goons-like skits. It's good fun for a listen or two but hardly something that would warrant a stand-alone release.
