"Can you prove to yourself that you, or anyone, or anything for that matter, truly exist?"

I've got the bills and the bad credit rating to prove it.

I keep hoping somebody will steal my identity, but I think the curse that goes with it is common knowledge on the black market.

not necessarily. How do you know for sure that anyone else actually hears what you hear in these recordings? How can you be sure anyone else even exists to listen to them, and are not an elaborate work of your imagination or some fiendish trickster?

nope.. I was hoping y'all could help me out. The intelligent responses I get on this board never cease to surprise and amaze me, so I though I would through this one out there, maybe some folks have more experience with this topic, I myself spend too much time reading piles of Ethiopian history books and standing in prayer, aside from crying that the sky is falling all the damned time.

I really don't get what you are trying to ask. If you want a serious answer, we are all particles of something. We exist because we breathe, eat, live everyday of our lives.

see, yes, we may all seem to be particles of something, but what is the essence of this? Can you know if it is real? Are not dreams or hallucinations potent examples of the weakness of relying on perception or thought to define existing? surely some philosophers, theologians, or scientists have come up with some kind of reasoning on this question..

i pinched myself and it hurt. so there's enough proof there.

But the pain could be part of the illusion...

i suppose that since i have a pattern in my mind of the past, that i can predict what will logically follow ahead of me, that is how i trust that the sun will rise again and i will wait for the bus and go to work. that all this logic fits into the world outside of my mind and body, i must exist. other people doing other things around me also seem to show me that. that they definately dont always act so predictably, but according to their own patterns, means they are seperate from me yet act according to similar external logic as me, is also involved.
