The dirty three
 

Just getting into their mellow oceanic vibe. Kims dirt is beautiful. Im also hearing ocean songs, deep waters and the ends of the earth....Some of it a bit repeatative, but very soothing and relaxing....A good summer band to listen to in a hot sunny medow. Anyone else like em?

i just recently heard them on the pandora sonic youth radio. really good chilled out violin driven rock n roll. i've only heard the "cinder" album

I'm listening to Cinder right now. Three songs in and I'm loving it.

yeah ocean songs is really nice. I had the chance to see them in london as part of the Dont Look Back bands courtesy of ATP...but didnt know too much about them then.....

I couldn't ever get into The Dirty Three.

I passionately hate folk, but I like DT a lot. I feel a bit like a racist with a black girlfriend.

i have seen them at least 15 times and always love them, an earlier band with jim white and mick turner called venom p stinger are awesome to but punk
