So does Sonic The Hedgehog's Scrap Brain Zone theme, because I've been hearing it since I was a child prolly

But overall my favorite video games music often come from Metroid and F-Zero (the techno ones)

of the top of my head Secret of Mana probably has my favourite game music, with FF2 & 3 close behind.

My favorite music ever is in Super Metroid, followed closely by Journey to Silius.

Super Metroid has some great tunes, but over all I don't enjoy it as much as other stuff, ditto Zelda.

Vagrant Story has excellent music that is used sparingly and to great effect, maybe that is my favourite actually.

Besides probably being my favorite game of all time, A Nightmre On Elm Street for the NES has some of the most amazing music the 8bit generation ever blessed us with.
