it came on after another program and i was like "why the hell did i tape an interview with steve irwin, and why was i taping leno to begin with?" then he introduced SY and i was pleasantly surprised.

they've had some good and bad tv performances but this one was pretty solid. maybe not as cool as 'pattern recognition' on craig t nelson's show...

Worst I've seen is diamond sea on letterman

Unmade Bed was the only song I liked on Nurse for the first couple years. I've only recently begun to like the rest of it.

By far.

"Nevermind" on Conan is one of my favorite TV performances. Doesn't touch "I Wanna Be Yr Dog" though (y'know the version on Screaming Fields).

The Silver Rocket performance from Night Music was sick, too, if that's the same session you mean. My favorite SY anything ever.

i watched loads on yuotube last night, theres a great one of Nevermind, a great Bull in the Heather and a brilliant Pattern Recognition. No idea what shows they were on, i'm English, and all your hosts look the same. and sound the same. But there was some good perfromances.
I also saw a fantastic Rain on Tin on soemthing called SoundStage

it's definetly the best song off Nurse.
and maybe the best song they made in 00s. yet ;)

I know, really. Diamond Sea on Letterman is intense. I like to think Gina Gershon is masturbating in the dark to the performance (Showgirls) as well.

Diamond Sea sucked on Letterman only because they cut from the band mid-song and when they came back form the commercial break, SY were still playing. FUCK COMMERCIALS!!! LET SY PLAY!!!
