I didn't know who it was until I saw his pic, and I recognized him from Columbo. Unfortunately that is all I know of him.

A sad loss. He'll escape suffering through the upcoming Prisoner remake at least. Such a brilliant actor/writer/producer. That show is so damn timelessly brilliant.
