I'm guessing I already know the answer to this. Does Sonic Youth ever play songs from the Whitey Album? I see the song/set list compilation doesn't inculde this disc.

they used to play madonna's into the groove (the original track) tru some amps back when it came out.

Ciccone Youth was an "of the moment" sort of thing, and is probably best left dormant. Surely the SYR series is the current equivalent?

There's plenty of adopted children out there and it doesn't mean they will all grow up to be that interesting..

The point behind the Ciccone Youth name was that Madonna was someone that SY saw around town in NY before she became famous, and that was where the band's fascination with her came from.

I suggest that if they resurrect the project they call it Porkmarras Youth.

True, but I mean she was adopted, by Lionel Richie a guy who made a video by stalking a blind chick. I mean he seems strange enough, although Lindsay Lohan could be better, she really has a fucked up family and is slutty and is kind of cute.

i always thought master-dik 12" should have been released as ciccone youth, it has that ciccone feel, at least the a-side.
