May we have a "post your poetry thread"? Is that too much to ask? Can we keep it quality-free?

inspired by the Presidential interview on 60 Minutes:

ATLAS HOLDS SAND
Sisyphus laughs to keep the sanity
He checks the weight

and pushes the terrible walls

"This is not perpetual drift."
Such a song I hold at Arms length like unrequited love

How about stoned ramblings, are they any good?

There is a difference? My poem was fueled by wine.

Cast your line
and hook the midnight sky.
Reel it, wind it up, and pull him tight.
Kiss your lover for the last time.
Don't you ever forget this night.
Under a full moon in an empty sky.
