I can not wait. Seeing that made me feel like I was 5 years old again, waiting to go to bed just so my mom would ready that to me. I'd get excited about sleeping solely because I knew I'd get to read that with her before sleep.

i watched this 9 times today. went into the attic not at all expecting to find my old book, but i did. i want october 16th to be tomorrow

I love seeing trailers for new movies that don't look like absolute dog shit. This was one of my favorite books growing up.

it looks really cute. hope it is more puppetry than cgi though, hard to tell from the trailer.

Apparently it's huge anamatronic bodysuit/puppets. From what I heard.

I thought the book was really overrated as a child. I didn't understand (and still don't understand) what made it so great. However the movie looks pretty good, but they are of course going to add many things that weren't in the short book to stretch this into feature length. Like...the kid in the class room, his parent(s) and their affairs (did anyone else notice that?).

I think something of that sort would have made the book better, because it really doesn't have a plot that can sustain a movie. I am excited to see what's been added because maybe I'll enjoy it more. The visuals look great.

so......it will be a 5 minute movie>??? cuz that's how long it takes to read that book.
