in many respects, this in an american problem, not just limited to the president individually. Our country is in shits, we have neglects our responsibilities for decades and now it has come time to pay the piper. one way or another, the spending will have to happen and that is simply a reality of the day.

Obama's just the U.S.'s mascot. You can put anybody up there. We'll still have probably pretty much the same problems. The president alone doesn't decide the fate of EVERYTHING. So, I've always found it bad to blame him. He's just supposed to project a good image for the U.S. He certainly does that better than some redneck idiot. But man... anyone putting their hopes and dreams into one person is sure to be disappointed... because, guess what, nothing's going to change (for the better).. probably ever.
