Kim's description on Wikipedia
 

I did a forum search for this and didn't see it referenced. I noticed this while looking up the band members on wiki. It says that Kim publicly stated she believes Kurt Cobain was murdered. I've read three books about Sonic youth and never came across this opinion. I've also never put much stock in the murder theories about Kurt Cobain but knowing that Kim was close to him piques my interest. does anyone know details of why she thinks this or an interview where she said it?

I am pretty sure she told Uncut Magazine. She was the first one of his friends to say he was murdered also.

thanks. I just found it quite interesting as I always thought it pretty whacky, the idea that he had been murdered. I'm intrigued that she believes it

I'm not saying I believe that... but I'm not saying it's a "whacky" possibility either...

I guess that's the wrong word to use as it's pretty juvenile. I'm just interested in the why really. Does she think he wasn't capable of suicide or even what motivation someone might have. Because if he was killed, it wasn't a random act of violence.
