uhler's classic album #2: indian summer- "science 1994"

(not my picture, but that best represents the cd)

i figured this will be my number two classic album since "screamo" seems to be a hit on this board lately. anyway, if you're not familar with this band track down this cd (or download if you fancy that more). it'll be worth your time. indian summer were a early 90's "screamo" or "emo" or "post hardcore" or "whateverthefucklamelabelyouwanttocallthem" band. probably my favorite of the bands. you can tell they were very influenced by slint, but with more of a "emo" edge. they also have another discography named "hidden arthimetic", but it's just a live one. it's still really good.

here's a video of them live for the unfamilar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo39QBnIqY4

oh yeah, this band is fucking awesome. so emotional.

pbradley 05.20.2009 01:10 AM

Pretty much the best "emo" band in my opinion.

Yet another CD I have been tracking down for ages with no success.

That reminds me, I have to do another "emo classics" thread.
