i was over a friend's house the other night and we were playing the best videogame ever, Jeopardy. Anyways in final jeopardy the question was who coined the 60's phrase "flower power". I knew it and answered ginsberg but my friend cheated off me and won, that made me fucking angry...

How did he cheat off you? If you said it first, he's got nothin'. I didn't know he coined that, though.

Such a talented dude. It really blew m mind to find out that the inspiration for Howl came to Ginsberg while he was sodomizing himself with a broomstick. Fuckin weird. But I guess whatever gets the job done, eh?
