Broadcast and scheduled television is dead.

Seriously, which non-premium cable channel programs are worth watching anymore?

And even then, most TV programs can be viewed online.

DVRs let us watch what we want, when we want.

I find many internet programs more entertaining than what's on TV.

Who's with me here?

The problem with choosing is that you have to have some things to choose from. I love some scheduled programming on radio. I nearly never watch TV or film though.

Rob Instigator 07.27.2009 02:25 PM

Nova
Frontline
Monday Night Football
Antiques Roadshow
Top Chef

schizophrenicroom 07.27.2009 02:27 PM

Glice 07.27.2009 02:27 PM

Did you just include 2 British shows? BBC shows at that?

Edit: not you, s'room.

No Fucking Reservations

cryptowonderdruginvogue 07.27.2009 03:20 PM

tv sucks

Rob Instigator 07.27.2009 03:40 PM

i like both the BBC's original antiques roadshow and the usa one.

Glice 07.27.2009 03:51 PM

America doesn't have any antiques, silly. Where would they keep them, in their apartments? No. Antiques live in our castles and our top hats, not in America.

Satan 07.27.2009 04:10 PM

the mighty boosh

atsonicpark 07.27.2009 04:17 PM

Yep.

Mighty Boosh, Delocated, Xavier: Renegade Angel, and maaaaaaybe Superjail. Only shows I've watched on television in forever that I enjoy.

dirty bunny 07.27.2009 04:19 PM

I only watch a few tv programs anymore. Mostly I watch hockey and baseball.

tw2113 07.27.2009 08:16 PM

noisereductions 07.27.2009 08:23 PM

shows I watch now:

Jeopardy
How I Met Your Mother
SNL
Michael & Michael

not much else, really. And none of those religiously as of late.

The rest is old sitcoms on DVD, etc.

One time a lady had the 1st state butcher cover, because her dad was a record exec at beatle's USA record label. holy fuck rigght?

barnaclelapse 07.28.2009 09:31 AM

I really don't watch a lot of TV anymore. Anything I want to see I either wait for DVD or just forget about it completely.

Generally, I stick to films.
