EMMAh, you were in one of my dreams.

Freaking weird but true. You looked like you did in that pic you had up for a while in your signature with the blonde hair. You borrowed me a power amp that connected into my bass amp somehow. Mine was broken or something. I think I borrowed it for a long time, and at the end of the dream, I disconnected it and gave it back to you. You were very nice too. That's all I remember. I'm not making this up.

I had an SY board dream. I dreamt that Laila PM'd me asking me what Carnegie Mellon University is like. And then a bunch of images of CMU flashed through my head (I went there for a year) and I saw EA scratched on a dorm, signifying experimentalists anonymous, another forum I read. Then I was in a computer lab at 5 AM and I thought it was wierd because I slept 12 hours but people were telling me of an effect that causes that.

I had a dream that I threw a brick at my dog's head and killed her. None of you were in it.

You must throw some bricks at other people's heads before throwing bricks at !@#$%! again.

!@#$%! 06.23.2006 04:58 PM

if i were so lucky.

but you don't have to be in love to like someone.

luxinterior 06.23.2006 05:49 PM

And you don't necessarily have to like the people you love.

that's a recipe for a tennessee williams play

luxinterior 06.23.2006 05:53 PM

Now I don't know whether I want to bake a cake or read.

!@#$%! 06.23.2006 06:05 PM

that's easy-- start with the cake, then put it in the in the oven & go read.

of course you need a timer. otherwise the cake could turn out nasty.

and are you going to read tennessee williams?

ps - these arent plays but i like this book

luxinterior 06.23.2006 06:33 PM

I've only read A Streetcar Named Desire, but I'm sure I'll get around to reading something else of his sooner or later. Right now I'm feeling pretty swamped after buying what I believe is mathematically referred to as a "buttload" of books. I was once told that this equalled 27.

EDIT: But thanks for the rec. I am always up for some short stories.

Only when measureing objects weighing over 1 pound. A buttload of tennis balls, for example, is closer to 270.

luxinterior 06.23.2006 06:52 PM

What about ketchup packets? Because the 27 came about when someone I knew went to McDonald's and asked for a buttload of ketchup packets. The drive-thru worker gave him 27 of them.

!@#$%! 06.23.2006 06:53 PM

and when you're measuring butts, it amounts to one-- unless you're talking marleypumpkin's, his butt is only about 1/2 buttload.

27 books? yummy, yummy.

well now i REALLY have to get out of here. have fun this weekend.

ps- luxy did you end up getting any depraved books? i was left curious :D

He was obviously not aware of the Second Law of Weight-to-Buttload Proportions, as stated by Rudolf Clausius.

But you actually counted them? Haha.

luxinterior 06.23.2006 07:01 PM

I definitely started an MSWord document entitled "depraved books" which contains all of the suggestions I received from some very helpful board members. I suspect I'll get around to purchasing some of these titles in a buttload of days, give or take a few.

Inhuman 06.23.2006 08:07 PM

I had an SY board dream once. I think I was either arguing with Haydenasche or talking to Emmah. Either or.

You know you're on the SY forums too much whheeennn...

HaydenAsche 06.23.2006 08:09 PM

It must have been a dream. I'm not one for arguments.
