I really really hope they play the UK. I remember posting on their myspace years ago saying I think a vinyl reissue should be done and now out of the blue its finally happening. Needs some bonus material tho. I don't understand what tobi's saying about the single song of fairytale in the supermarket. there must be 2 version or something. I definitly understand what she means by this tho "It's not every day that you come to work and find out you get to work on re-releasing your favorite records of all time!"

1. Will believe it when I see. Have read all kinds of things about reissues existing over the years and have never seen them.
2. Hate the hype. Why do some bands/labels wait so long to reissue things they know everybody wants? Answer: Bucks. |

..and of course SY has never used the same tactic? |
it's definitly happening. and it's hardly hype, it's an email from tobi vail who is obviously genuinely excited to do the reissue's because she's such a fan. Obviously there is money to be made, but I don't see how you can get crotchety in this particular case, there is real sentiment here.

They have, and I hate them for it. |
i mean there is hype but it's not false impersonal cynical add copy it's hype in the same way somebody enthusing to their friends after seeing a great band live is hype

Well, the real sentiment sure did take the long way around on pulling the trigger. |

I have no idea what you mean by this. |
THAT is the best news I heard since I heard The Raincoats were getting back together..

Aren't they a little old to be running around in a rock band?
