First Gig
 

My band are playing their first gig tonight, everyone else in our band has played live before, this is my first time on stage since the school play in 1994, the gig was booked before the band had even formed, i enjoy playing and i believe in what we're doing but that doesn't mean we're any good, i have no idea if we are.

the sound we're going for is to transmit through rock n roll the feeling that you might have on a sunday when you wake up really hung over, go out for a fry up and then go to the pub at about 2 in the afternoon have a couple of pints and then spend the rest of the day in a drunken haze of tomfoolery

At the risk of being sincere on the internet, I think T&B is one of the few people who post here who should be in a band, based on taste and looks (which is 99% of rock n' roll). Plus, he's a total cunt.

it was a success, we played alright and people liked us, a few of whom of whom weren't even our friends.

sort of, our plan when we started was to play a drunken sounding blend of krautrock, Earth, DNA & Half Japanese
