Waaaaaay underrated band, along with Comsat Angels and The Sound.

I've always hated that album cover though.

I love that cover lol. It's so 80's goth, like something Echo and the Bunnymen would have on their cover if all their covers weren't just pictures of them. But yea the Chameleons I think are one of the best mainstream bands of the 80's, definately way up there.

Excellent band. 'Tears' is an epic song.

Parts of the new Horrors record sound like a Chameleons rip.

They're okay. Kinda derivative of a bunch of other post-punk bands, though.

I've always liked the song Second Skin.

They're way better than the Comsat Angels. The Sound was alright but they were too synthy, the Chameleons achieved that amazing atmosphere with just guitars.

no, the Chameleons used keyboards too, but personally i think they had the strongest set of songs and lyrics out of any of their peers.
