fucking sucks.

i have 2 friends addicted to it, and hayden enables them frequently. he lets them play over at his house on his large tv.

at this point i almost hate oblivion more than i hate world of warcraft (not wow. ok? if you spend 6+ hours playing it a day you have enough time to say the whole title of the game.) my sister plays that game all the time and i have to listen about her guilds and shit. one time while she went out to the bar she even was "kind enough" to let me create a character. so i did. and then i walked around this big ass castle killing wolves and trolls, and it was fucking stupid.

do you mean the xbox game?

it was fun for awhile but too open-ended for me. I need clear
goals or I get bored.

yeah, the xbox game.

people are doing so much that they look like they're doing nothing. there's no such thing as progress.

my brother was like that with ultima online, but for 5 YEARS

that's pretty much what I don't like about that game too.

besides that, dungeon-monsters scale with level. that might sound like a good way to keep the game fresh, but for me it diminished the sense of accomplishment.

ps: Im bored and might go back to wow.

I beat it. Saved the world, ruled it through various positions of power, got all the crazy awesome houses and weapons.

It was fun.

I'd be totally psyched if my bf brought people home to play video games. His friends in high school used to do lan nights.. but those doods are all long gone from his social circle.

and you best believe theres a such thing as gamers anonymous. Yesterday in my local paper, sandwiched between AA meetings and a widows support group, was "overeaters anonymous".

.....LIKE OVER EATING IS A FUCKING ADDICTION OR SOMETHING. PEOPLE WHO EAT THAT MUCH DON'T NEED MORE FAT PEOPLE COMFORTING THEM FOR EATING THEMSELVES TO OBESITY. THEY NEED SOMEONE TO HIT THEM OVER THE HEAD AND SAY, "Thats for eating your way to a size infinity, lardcakes."
