anybody know of a good site to play scrabble for free? i've googled it and tried one, but it seems far worse than my old go-to.

i don't know if this has been discussed before. searched for it and seems like i might have even posted something similar before.
but i used to play on scrabulous.com all the time and i really really really need to get my fix of listening to music, surfing the 'net and playing online scrabble. got a CD rom, but it doesn't allow you to surf at the same time.

playing scrabble stoned is the worst

a little off topic, but Scrabble on the iPhone rocks. I've got about 30 apps in the entertainment/games category, and all I play is scrabble.

Better when you make the game about making up new words and trying to explain what they mean.

There is Literati on Yahoo! games - it's basically the same thing.

When she was in high school my mom was playing Scrabble with friends and spelled out "cunt" but didn't know what it meant. Her friends laughed their asses off. She was mortified.

iPhone users can download a free scrabble app called words with friends.

it's free if you don't mine intermittent ads and cheap if you do.
