hmm, interesting observation. i think it may be true. rich people often know the value of hard work. poor people seem to think that merely being human entitles them to certain comforts, such as food and a place to sleep.

even back when I worked for a hotel chain many many years ago, the people who paid the lowest rate always expected (read: demanded) the most.

Considering that their income constitutes a base cost of living and that their taxes have immediate ramifications upon their means to get-by, I'm more sympathetic to their concerns.

in my experience it is the poorer people who feel entitled to a certain degree of asskissing and brownnosing service whenevr they pay for anything. por white, poor black, poor hispanic, whatever. watch them eyeball you whe you are trying to make their sandwhich... . . ..
