Boredoms&LB show 6/30
 

Anyone going? or to the webster hall show on 7/2?

I would if I lived in that area!
I saw the Boredoms this past Sunday and it was incredible. If it's a show with them and Lightning Bolt, make sure you have some rest the day before! The Boredoms played for an hour and a half. Fantastic lineup; 3 drummers.

Yeah, i'm so fucking excited. It sucks because I have to work at 6:30 morning of then take the two hour drive to philly but honestly I don't know how i WONT have energy for the whole show, I love both bands so much. And Hrvatski is opening, he's pretty cool.

It will be worth it if it's even half as good as what I saw this past weekend.

I'm goin to that show this Friday...I'm surprised the tix didnt sell out quicker than they did. I've never seen Lightning Bolt or The Boredoms live, but I definitely cant wait!!

Awesome, glad someone from here's going. I was a little surprised about the tix too but once LB was announced they went quick. But it figures.

me and a friend had tickets to the show, but couldn't afford plane tickets. his girlfriend's in philly right now, getting ready to see them, though.

I'm trying to get two tickets, but am going with a friend tomorrow regardless.

Holy shit, I was so blown away. Lightning Bolt was awesome but as it is with many LB gigs, I could barely see them and only got one good shot of Brian C. But Boredoms were absolutely mindblowing, their set was so beautiful and everything came together so well. Here are a few pics:

3 drummers and then eYe on electronics and vocals.

Oh. Three drummers... I bet that was intense. Makes me want to listen to Pop Tatari right now..

The Boredoms set was great!! Unfortunately I missed LB cause I was partying at a friends house before the show. As soon as I handed my ticket to the guy at the door, I looked up and Isobel from Bardo Pond was like right in front of me(I'm a huge Bardo Pond fan not to mention I'm like in love with her haha). A little later I went to get a drink at the bar and noticed a couple more members of Bardo Pond sitting around the bar diggin the Boredoms set. It was pretty cool...Drrrty Boots those pics are really good. I was on the left side of the stage too...were you the really tall guy takin pics? Unfortunately for me I'm 5'1 so I usually get to see the backs of sweaty people who just insist on standing right in front of me so I cant see a damn thing haha.

Haha, i'm only 5'7 so I was that moderately short guy raising his camera up every once in awhile. I was like right behind that tall guy for awhile then moved a little to get a better view, i hate those people!
