When I first heard them, I didn't like it. A joint and another listen, I love 'em.
I only have a few songs off of Cactuses Come in Flocks, what's an album I should start with?

Cell Scape

Charlie is my favourite, probably because it's the first I bought. After that I'd have to say Mxbx 1998/13000 Miles at Light Velocity.

And see them live if you get the chance, they're amazing!

I found Speak Squeak Creak to be a bit weak, I rarely play it. A bit lame compared to Charlie or Mxbx 1998/13000 Miles at Light Velocity. These two (and Cell Scape to a lesser extent) capture the sound they create when playing live.

And yes...the Melts rule!

MxBx all the way I reckon. I quite like cactuses come in flocks for its ridiculous production values. MxBx and then Charlie says I.

Listening to Cell Scape and liking it more then what I heard on Cactuses Come in Flocks. It's fucking awesome.

They bore me now but many years ago Teeny Shiny was my shit. The guitarist is really the only remarkable thing with that band.

You heard the solo record yet? I keep meaning to buy it, but have completely failed to find it. I could always order it off the website, but where's the fun in that?

I heard it, it's just a bunch of pretty-cool noises made by guitar fx. Worth one listen..
