Really tragic what happened to the dude from Twin Stumps. I've casually found about it while reading the thread on Termbo.

First time I saw Twin Stumps was when they played at (now-legendary) Drunkdriver-Mattin collab show on Jan. 3rd this year and I thought they were a mailorder hardcore band just phoning it in. Saw them a couple times after that and they grew on me. And it totally sucks what happened to that guy. You get fucked up for $10 and a cellphone, need reconstructive surgery, and then you're stuck with $100,000+ medical bills? Fuck the state of healthcare in this country.

I'm on Termbo occasionally too. Don't really post though, don't know if I ever have.

I only now saw that they've broken up a couple of weeks ago. Hadn't heard about it before... a big difference to the drama that came with the Drunkdriver break up.

Anyone know why? Is it because that one guy is now playing bass in The Men?
