ok so it was a great gig.. at one point i found it a bit boring but then merz just stopped for a while, let the drummer come thru, but then he slowly came back with some pops, clips crazy sounds... and it all went crazy suddenly
after the show there was a press conference. and i must say Masami is the weirdest person on earth. He was so shy that you could barely hear his voice, and seemed a little embarrassed to answer questions (and not because they were so stupid).

theyre touring across europe right now, but Masami cant leave Japan for more than a week (because of his health and the chicken that he has at home!!!) at least thats what my friend (the drummer guy) told me. but theyre planning another tour next year!

I love Merzbow shows when he is with other instrumentalists. His purely noise shows don't interest me much (especially since he went basically full laptop). If there were ever a show in a 200 mile radius of me with Merz, Haino, Kawabata Makoto, and Yoshida Tatsuya, I would poop my pants. Literally. Poop.

When I saw Merzbow with Haino (IN A CHURCH), it fucking RULED! Especially at the end when it was Merzbow playing the drums and Haino playing guitar full on rock style (although it annoying got cut short because Haino's guitar crapped out and he had to go back to screeching/that uke thing he plays).

Annoyingly, I got into Haino shortly AFTER he did a four hour solo show here. Which sounds like the best thing ever.
