Glenn Branca sound config
 

Hi, anyone has any clue what kind of amps and/or effects use the great Glenn Branca???

amps not sure, effects i would believe very little... he pretty much relies on tuning and volume. to me the guitars sound clean but extremely loud with a i would think a very particular eq setting on the amps...

when i played with Rhys Chatham Guitar Trio he was quite particular about the amp EQ setting plus the guitars he prefered were telecasters specifically only using the bridge pickup... he prefered a pronounced treble, which i think is similar to branca's early works.
