check it out. seems like Thurston performed a new song!
my co-editor eva took this foto at st marks poetry project last wednesday eve, it was a memorial reading for the late, great Jim Carroll. cool time w/ Bill Berkson, richard hell, Lee R, Anne Waldman, Anselm Berrigan, Lenny kaye, patti -- same night as when patti and lenny first performed there in '72 - very sweet -- i read JCs "8 fragments for Kurt Cobain" and played a new song 'you lost yr lover' Posted by thurston at 9:07 AM 0 comments |
mystery abounds. did thurston make it with his acoustic, electric, or what? will it serve as a sonic youth song, a solo piece, or nothing?
it seem like acoustic (check the picture with that post).
