Rubbish mixes people made for you
 

I'm listening to one now that a dear friend made for me a few years ago. He got me into so much cool music (Sonic Youth for instance) that I'm forever grateful to him for. On this occasion he wasn't really at his best, every single track is so not my thing, I only didn't bin the thing for the sake of sailing the boat of mutual respect.
Tracks by XIU XIU, Two Guys, Pinback, The Extra Glens, amongst others. Head tremors give me more pleasure than this mix cd.

I've never received a really bad mixtape/CD. Although somebody did do me one once which had a track by Chumbawamba.

Although the same person also made me a tape which is the one I've held on to for the longest amount of time. It was a mixtape he made using his mum's record collection.

an old housemate once made me a mixtape for my birthday, at least half of the tunes on it were stuff she'd copied out of my collection.
