I'm excited to give it a listen. I was reluctant with Gucci, but after the Diplo mixtape that dropped in January, I'm totally a believer. Dude is ridiculous.

yeah, it's good right?? There should be less interludes, but whatever. It's a mixtape. BTW, I tend to find that Luda works best in the context of someone else's songs. I mean he has some good tracks, but for the most part he shines when he's challenged by other rappers being on the same track. One of his absolute best verses ever is on Young Buck's "Stomp"... I mean he KILLS IT on there: "there's truth in this booth / ain't no doubt when I'm rapping / if I say it I've either done it / or it's ABOUT to happen!"

oh and Dave, tell me you have Diplo Presents: Free Gucci... honestly my favorite mixtape so far this year.
