Just saw on Sky News Syd Barrett has died.

This is certainly going to be a sad day.Bye Syd and thank you for the music.

syds gtr work on piper is my favorite gtr playing ever ever ever. as well as all the influence he had over that album being amazing.
his solo albums are also something special that have been copied countless times but never even touched.
R.I.P syd. you fucking rocked.

Some human beings are just too beautiful for words(even in their erratic behaviour).

This is truly a sad day for all Floyd fans.
