this chick has got some serious flavor! I'm hooked! Rolling Stones said it was like Lady Gaga but I am delightfully glad they were way off base, this chick has waaaaay more flavor, style and funk than Lady Gaga.. Janelle has the flavor of Raphael Saadiq meets DangerMouse/Gnarls Barkley, and I am really really diggin it..

perhaps its because she stole all my dance moves! (seriously, those shuffles, glides and c-walks are my straight patented moves at the dance hall, better ask somebody)

I heard a song she did with Of Montreal, and I hear they are working on an album/tour, so I am wayyy looking forward to it.

i listened to "tight rope" the other day and i was extremely impressed. i really should listen to the album.

the album is pretty solid. first ep is good too, kind of a companion thang.
