Artgalleries That Support Terrorism

after seeing and documentury about art from unstable regions
and that they heve been selling these here in belgium and other places
in europe
the thing is

no one ask questions about where these artefacts come from
and where the money they give for it goes to

this is an overflow on the war that there was
and people showed their ugly face

for not caring who is dieing
yust interested in money

i call this a shame and an abuse of freedom

gast30 09.01.2010 09:36 AM

this is about money
people have a lot of time to sort these out

this is not as dangerous as going into a real war

after that if you been to a real war
you woudn't be so much interested in art

ISN'T ART SUPPOSE TO BE AN UNIVERSAL PEACEFULL MESSAGE
LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE DO UNDERSTAND

that also a thing about art

IT HAS MESSAGE OF PEACE

I jack off to videos of the WTC collapse. Terrorism gets me off, the only good thing to do with art is to blow it up, then I can jack off to the explosion.

that's crazy talk
that was alot after wtc
it's normal
that everthing is in chaos and people are
recovering from that
and look for all possible plots

all kinds of things have been thought

and things changed to the bad after that

i don't know how it's now for the people

this world had enough of war and voilence

gast30 09.01.2010 01:12 PM

the documentury i seen is one on canvas
belgium tv channel

the documentury was already 6 months old as i saw it
i goes about art trade from unstable countries

the hole world is looking for 10 years of nothing then war
it drives people crazy to interpretate the world
as an normal world
the part of what is normal
and how do we grow into that normal world

gast30 09.01.2010 01:15 PM

Art isn't "supposed" to be about any one thing.

ploesj 09.01.2010 04:11 PM

art is about what the artist intended or how the audience interprets it. show a drawing some chick did by dipping her vagina in paint to a radical feminist and a conservative guy and you'll get two entirely different explanations.

of course art objects from unstable areas are being sold. there's a lot of crap going on in the art circuit, as there is in any financial circuit these days. these things happen as soon as you state that something has a certain value.

gast30 09.01.2010 05:08 PM

that's what is art not about

take this you can NOT buy peace with money

what you can do
is the free will of an idiviual that wants peace and lives for that

take that as a part of your brain
and if you connect all the people
who's brain have chosen peace
as they can only choose in thier free will
then you have a modern peace humanity
that works for peace

ploesj 09.01.2010 05:15 PM

no you can't buy peace with money. but people buying art usually don't think "ooh i'm going to buy this statue so the terrorists can get more bombs"; they think it matches their carpet.

and what sense does the rest of this make? if you connect all people who want peace out of their free will, there's still tons of them disconnected who get something out of violence and war.

it has been proven time and time again that the right circumstances bring the worst in humans out. i sound pessimistic and i know it, but an entirely peaceful world is a utopia and will never happen.

gast30 09.01.2010 05:28 PM

art can delete that negativity
like the dream signs of the aboriginals
the rainbowsnake

it's all old
and the past is over
always a newer day
a modernworld
where everyone is dreaming of ( sort of)

there is soo much good we can do

what does motivates
look forward or think of the past

that's all you can do with the past

ann ashtray 09.01.2010 05:45 PM

What the hell does art and peace have to do with each other? I mean, in the general sense? NOTHING. Art is self expression and if that happens to be negative, then so be it.

Some of the best art, in my opinion, comes from negativity. Making something beautiful out of something ugly. Making something ugly out of something beautiful can also badass in my book.

gast30 09.01.2010 05:56 PM

art is long and hard work
it's speaks foritself that it's peace

or maybe you don't understand that part of art
or don't see it

gast30 09.01.2010 05:59 PM

ok
have a good day

for me the discusion of what i try to say
is clear

ann ashtray 09.01.2010 06:02 PM

What about art that isn't meant to be universally understood? There is no one message. It isn't always long/hard work. It's whatever the artist intends for it to be, as well as what the audience chooses to see it as.
