why do you say that? the creep rendition is pretty nice. I have no previous knowledge of the choir however. just heard it on the commercial. |
That was terrible.
@ the facebook thing, both the song and the trailer |
Radiohead have pretty much disowned this song, with good reason. It really isn't that good and it's only worth is that it got their feet in the door so they could go on to do much more interesting things.

It'd have all been worth it if they would have just let the little kid choir sing "so fucking special". I'm a man of simple amusements. ... and in regards to the previous post, I think Creep is a special song. At the time it was recorded it wasn't like anything ever heard before. It was almost as special as when Teen Spirit would come on the radio in the days of it's release. It's easy to dismiss it now that it's old and overplayed, but that can't take away how special it was when it came out. I agree about it launching Radiohead and paving their way to evolve as musicians, but it also is who they were at the time. They didn't compromise or sell out to write that song to support their passion to be the more experimental musicians they are today. It just is what it is, and is who they were, and just as special then as they are now. |
even though i hate the album "Pablo Honey" i think creep is an amazing song.
oh.. and i don't care about the facebook thing. |
Without the violent dead note chords Jonny plays, there's nothing to ground the melodrama of the rest of the song. That melodrama is taken to ridiculous heights with the chorus but without the sense of isolation that a solo voice imparts.
As for the movie, I changed my mind when I found out that Aaron Sorkin wrote it. |
I have read countless reports that people are predicting that Facebook will DECREASE in popularity once "The Social Network" comes out. It's that lame-looking to people. Bravo!
As for this song, I don't like it, I'd rather listen to TLC's "Creep", but the choir is at least better than Radiohead. Also, someone randomly posted this on the Social Network IMDB board when I just looked: A group of Asian tourists lost their lives this morning when Kim Kardashian's infamous vagina burst into flames at a downtown Hollywood shopping center. A young woman who survived the blast but lost an arm and suffered 3rd degree burns commented: "Grandpa just wanted to take her picture. She didn't have to turn him, Grandma and my cousins into tempura!" Another bystander who suffered only minor smoke-inhalation added: "It was like nothing I'd ever seen before. It smelled like burned, fried catfish and green smoke came pouring out with the flames. The poor Chang family didn't stand a chance". When reached for comment, Kardashian stated: "They shouldn't have been standing there." The rancid media whore was booked on 6 counts of manslaughter and released 15 minutes later. |
Do they sell Stanford panties?

they are... boring. and freshchops: it's not a little kid choir! all women. they took a lot of 'popular' or 'alernative' songs and did them the same way: with the little angelic soft sweet voices and a piano in the background. they don't do anything special with them, just... sing it. it's kind of nice for one song but after two you go... 'hey... this is kind of the same la la la all the time' and after song three the gimmick gets boring. |
