first world problems
I was making myself a sandwich, yesterday, and the filling fell on the floor.

This fast food restaurant doesn't give free refills.

My new shoes don't really fit me. I really should have tried them on when I was in the shop. What a pain, this means I'll have to take them back and check for a size that fits me.

Genteel, you might want to get in touch with an NGO. i hear that there are some really progressive ones in your area that help unfortunate people with exactly those kinds of problems. i wish you all the best, and keep up the good fight.

We have this huge bowl filled with chocolates at work and this morning when I grabbed one I expected it to have a milk chocolate filling, but to my absolute disgust it turned out to have some cherry filling instead.

At a Korean 4-way intersection, the traffic light allows only one lane to go at a time both forward and taking a left (cars drive on the right lane). This means that only one street is crossable at any given time, thus a pedestrian has to wait for the traffic light to change three times if she missed the chance to cross.
This is twice as long as back in the USA. |
I missed the postman again today so will have to take 10 minutes out of my Wednesday morning to go collect the package from the depot instead.

My phone contract expires soon and I'm confused about which package to go for next, since there are so many good deals around.

I have library books that are several days overdue, and I really can't be arsed with nipping down to the library to renew them.

The weather app on my phone told me it would be mostly sunny today, so I cycled to work on the most fair-weather of my 3 bikes and did not bring a coat. There has been a constant drizzle of rain since 9am.

I want to buy Samsung's Android phone for upwards of a million won (around $825) but the cell phone store clerks speak not a word of English, so I need a Korean teacher to translate for me.
