Does anyone else here get irritated with Facebook farmville posts?
 

I'm only a three month facebook user. As soon as I made my account I had family members I don't even know request to be friends. So ouyt of courtesy I accepted them all. Now I find myself scrolling through literally dozens of farmville updates each day looking for posts I actually am interested in. I'm not knockin you farmvillers out there. I just don't have any interest in it and do not understand why so many people seem to. To each his own, but no I do not want your bushel of red peppers.

There's a way to hide all farmville notifications, I can't remember how to do it however.

You could be able to click an X over the top right corner of a farmville post and click a 'Hide Farmville' option.

On the right of a "Farmville post", there should be something that says "Hide". Click on it. My mom is on farmville 12-15 hours a day. I'm on fb maybe 5 minutes a day... really boring site, I find that there's pretty much nothing to do on it. Myspace was so much better, back in the day. I don't find there's much to read, or do, on FB. Kinda sad, since so many people have told me I had to join it for all the potential listeners and watchers of my stuff I was missing out on.. I bet I've hooked up with 2 or 3 people in the 9 months I've been on there... anyway...

I "hide" them

Admittingly, Facebook has made it where things are more private. You can hide your friends list, FINALLY (kinda nice when I had some "friends", wanting to advertise their garbage, adding all my friends, many of whom didn't want anyone to know they had an FB), they made it where not everyone can msg you and add you.

go to the farmville application and BLOCK IT! no more posts, notifications, messages, nothing. ive blocked many of those games...mafia wars included.
