The NME are just infamous for hyping shit bands and them cutting them down when they make one wrong move. Libertines have the 2nd best album of the decade? I can't respect an opinion like that.

utter guff.

Not Pitchfork pseud enough for you? |
isn't pitchfork vs NME just splitting hairs?
|
Well, at least that Pitchfork list included some great albums. This is just... shit. Sure, it's good to see Shellac there, but that was about it.
|
What's nme's target audience these days, anyway? I mean, KIS is obviously in his late 30s living in a place where dark people's only job opportunity is wiping off horse shit, so she doesn't count.
|
I love the fact that for the mclusky they placed she only will bring you happines

practically the same thing in this regard, though pitchfork is capable of hyping something good every now and then. |
NME is a relic out of the tweepop/britpop times.
I used to read it around the first arctic monkeys came out till 3 years ago or something, but what I read later of it the hypes just got way shittier. And I mabye be the only person on earth to like the long blondes... |
Beyonce getting the number one track seems especially token, considering Lady Gaga isn't mentioned anywhere on either list.

neither have any relevance in my life, like you. |

yeah, you'd think the NME would love music as shit as hers. |
Can someone post the entire list so I can comment on how shit it is? I can't be fucked clicking 'back' 100 times.
|
On second thoughts, don't bother. Thanks.
