Post a picture of your food
I have this strange habit of taking photos of things I cook now, or even when I eat out sometimes. I'd like to see what other people eat. Whenever I am go to a buffet place, I also like to observe what people eat. Show me what you cook/eat. (it has to be real).

YOU WIN

hahaha!
i used to be scared of cooking, but now i like it. |
Why don't you eat food that will make you feel less miserable? Those dishes just depress me. I had gammon steak, boiled potatoes and baked beans tonight. I bet you wished you had something like this instead.

but now my food looks sad because i only have a phone cam.
that quiche certainly looks amazing - is it difficult to make? |
this was last night and it was really good just a simple steak with mushrooms and onion
![]() and i had this in a restaurant the other day ![]() YOU CAN TELL I like steak and potato a lot. |
what i posted are not dishes on their own, just parts of things i made...
i usually have a very varied plate, with lots of different flavors on them. tonight i had quinoa with a fresh tomato sauce and a nice salad. yesterday we made veggie moussaka here (with lentils and chickpeas instead of meat) the smell of meat or fish doesn't make me want to eat it. i never liked eating it, which resulted in endless fights at te dinner table. so i stopped eating meat about twelve years ago. i don't miss it. i also dislike eating fries too often. way too greasy. and for the record, i don't feel miserable. where did you get that idea? |
don't you make oven chips ploesj? my stomach can't take the grease either and that's how i deal with it. of course they're usually a bit dry but.

it's easy, one of my quickest recipes! i use store bought puff pastry, it's good enough since it's a difficult dough to get right... you need spinach (frozen is fine, it has to be in small pieces anyway), an onion, ricotta and parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste, an egg or two heat the onions in a pan until they are glassy, then add the spinach (to thaw and heat it, or just to cook it if you use the fresh stuff) while this is going, mix the ricotta cheese with the eggs in a bowl, add salt and pepper and anything you want to add (nutmeg gives a nice touch) when the spinach is done, snip it in small pieces first (if it's fresh) or just pour it in the cheese mix and stir it in. add some freshly grated parmesan and whatever you want to toss in there fill a pie mold with the puff pastry, pour cheese mix in, put in oven, done! |

we have the worst oven ever (it's old and slow and small and doesn't heat up that well) and we are a family of eight... imagine how long it would take to make chips for all of us. i have made oven baked potatoes a few times and i can only do it for four people at the time, since a larger quantity is just too much. |
