Nice dood! and it's a Friday/Sat! I'll be there!
|
You should get me playing at one of these. And Thought Forms. We'll show you lot how it's done. Yeah.
|
I hear advance tickets to this have sold out, so come down and line up around the block.
Looking forward to seeing EVOLghost. |
vimeing in hd , no youtube...
|
caught THunderbolt Pagoda live. They were awesome.
|
Really cool to meet you, EVOLghost! Meant a lot that you came down and dragged a couple of friends (extra thanks for picking up the LPs!).
It was great to see a few friendly faces at this thing. I had a blast, and we were hosted by a great guy with an AMAZING place. I saw two bands I have never heard before that I really liked, nd getting to connect with those peoplewas great too. So much fun. |
ha...yeha totally man. Sorry about not staying for the last band...My friend (tall dood) wasn't too crazy about the last band....and well....yeah.....
ps. Second Acension kicks ass. |
Last band was Moonstone Continuum? I really like the song "Erotic Banquet", but I would probably like them more if they didn't have that narrator.
Second Ascension does kick ass. |
^ Haha, it was actually my frist time listening to THunderbolt Pagoda too!
|
SC, has the thing been recorded video/audio, watheva?

I'm not quite sure why Moonstone decided to open with their recent humorous "soft rock" direction rather than the insanely well-crafted space-prog that made them one of my favorite bands in my area, but they did eventually get to meatier material after you (and yes, quite a few othes) had left. Totally polarized the crowd; the people who stayed really liked them, but the people who didn't like it were quite vocal. Thanks for the kind words about our stuff and again for coming down and saying hi. I was really happy and a little surprised at how kind the whole crowd was to us. Felt amazing, really. |

I saw evidence of audio and a lot of still photography, but I don't know where any of it is ending up...we only had time to hastily assemble all our own stuff, so recording ourselves wasn't really an option time-wise. A whole extra gear thing there. |
Youtube has turned out most of the set, only missing the last seven minutes or so. Just as well, seeing as this is the "Can't hear my voice at all/have to go by pure intuition and hope like hell it is close to on-key even though it isn't a lot of the time" mix. Still, Cool to see it was deemed film-worthy and upload-worthy by someone.
Thanks, whoever you are. This was one of the best times i have ever had on the road. Part One: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esmQ8...eature=related Part Two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0_aT...eature=related |
Ovation magnum?
huh, nice. Listening now, really enjoyable despite the "not top" sound quality (but not too bad either for a youtube vid) . Thanks for the links and thanks to the uploader, whoever he is. |

Thanks,you guys.
Kind words from the likes of you are the best. |
I wish I had some spare money other than kind words, I still have to get those damn lps (assuming there are some still available).
Could you list your effects chain here, please? Just curious. |
