EAI
i used to have a take it of leave it attitude to EAI, but in the last few months i've started to find the quiet high pitched tones quite soothing. anyone here into that stuff?
|
nobody here listens to any EAI?
|
Way to quote yourself, nutjob.
I am not cool enough to be familiar, apparently. I'd give it a try. |
it's cats like keith rowe, mark wastell, toshimaru nakamura, sachiko m etc
|
Gotcha.
I think that might suit my mood on occasion. |
i used to not be that into it at all, i mean it was ok but it lacked excitement for me, recently though i started to find the kinds of sounds it uses sound like they're massaging my ear canals. and then i read that apparently those high pitched frequencies can re-erect the little hairs in your ear that get flattened by other forms of loud music.

i never really liked sachiko m from listening to a few bits and bobs i downloaded.
then i saw her with phew a few months back and at first, i still couldnt dig it, but after a little while, those high frequencies started speaking to me. it was quite beautiful, i cant explain it. you normally hear those frequencies played really loud. but these are so quiet. soothing. the other band that played were called the light men. if anyone gets chance to see em, fuckin do it! and phew.........she is just a rock queen. |
im just listening to cosmos. theres something about this that gives me a hard on.
