Whose records should i buy.

Well, since my life is now entirely of your own making,i want you to also influence my record purchases.Do feel free to force your way in into my brain because i'll do anything that you want me to.

gmku 07.31.2006 12:22 PM

I have no idea who these people are. But statik is the name that most appeals to me.

porkmarras 07.31.2006 12:24 PM

Uk garage and grime stuff that i listen to day in day out.

gmku 07.31.2006 12:25 PM

porkmarras 07.31.2006 12:28 PM

C'mon let us know what i should buy or i wont be able to operate as a human being.Puuuurrrllllllleaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

gmku 07.31.2006 12:29 PM

Looks like statik wins, to me.

k-krack 07.31.2006 12:30 PM

i say statik too, cos all the other names are uncool.

Hip Priest 07.31.2006 12:31 PM

Davinche

porkmarras 07.31.2006 12:32 PM

* grabs notebook*

gmku 07.31.2006 12:33 PM

Yeah, the others sound like real wanker names. Statik is definitely the coolest name. They've gotta be the coolest band.

Hip Priest 07.31.2006 12:33 PM

Davinche has some good original tracks, and one of the best 'cover/sample' tracks in a while.

It's a bit of a shame that more doesn't sound as hard as 'Stop', but so what?

never heard 'em. are there links to any of these bands so we can make a proper opinion?

porkmarras 07.31.2006 12:35 PM

I second that.

Edit-Hip Priest's post.

Hip Priest 07.31.2006 12:37 PM

'Stop' is my favourite.

I'm not familiar with Fumin.

Toilet & Bowels 07.31.2006 12:39 PM

which jammer record is that? and what's the statik one, is the "grindie" thing, or is it Connected (which is very good), is the wiley one 2nd phaze?

Hip Priest 07.31.2006 12:39 PM

Garage has much cool stuff going on (or 'down', if you prefer), but I feel that no-one has ever matched Oxide and Neutrino's first LP for consistency.

k-krack 07.31.2006 12:44 PM

blech. i say not davinche... i feel over genericized..if thats a word.. after listening to that. everything boring about hiphop.
still say statik until i get some linkage and they suck... i doubt it. with a name like statik you gotta rock.

porkmarras 07.31.2006 12:44 PM

Statik-The set
Connected i have already as well as Wiley's 2nd phaze.Any more suggestion?I don't want to buy a record because i read of it on the internet.

porkmarras 07.31.2006 12:46 PM

Jammer-anything as i haven't heard a single note by him.

Toilet & Bowels 07.31.2006 12:49 PM

is 2nd phaze any good, i haven't heard it yet?

aim high 3 is really good, if it's still available, and there's a new rinsessions CD that just came out that i'm keen for (roll deep live at ministry of sound) because the last one was great (the 6CD pack), and ruff sqwad have reissued their guns n roses mixtape, which is also very good. i want the new JME one too.
