ds1 owners: make yr ds1 into a copressor
 

i just found this out. it works for me, i dont know if itll work for you.
take all the knobs and put them on the max. then push the tone knob to 0

then: take guitar main volume knob and put in to 4-5-6 or something. it makes the geetar sound all twangy and compressed
