WTF? Hurra Torpedo!
Ha!
Hurra Torpedo is the world's leading kitchen appliance rock group. Since 1993 they have played for full houses all over their native Norway with their eclectic mixture of cover tunes and original material. Now, thanks to the wonders of the internet, their heartbreaking version of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart is known all over the world . Demonbox must know these guys. http://www.duplexrecords.no/eng/hurra/home.php |
Interesting. These guys give a new meaning to Washing Machine.
|
I thought you meant they played sonically-adapted kitchen stuff, like blenders with pickups and knife and fork drumming. I am so disappointed.

Oh, I must have missed this thread. I like those guys, their pretty fucking funny, two of the guys from the band are well-known comedians here in Norway, and have been involed in several funny bands and solo-projects before such as Gatnerlosjen and Bare Egil Band. Christoffer Schau (the tall guy with sideburns) is also lead-singer in the heavy-metal/hardcore band The Cumshots, which is a decent band, he is also the most well known comedian of the band after he attended the tv-comedy-show Team Antonsen. The show was a smash hit in Norway, just because it was a great show.
So, this guys carry a lot of history, and are a hard-hitting, homo-erotic great fucking band. |
There cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart is hilarious.
|
Yeah, that one is awsome.
|
They covered Total eclipse of the heart and It was really cool actually.
|
Jesus! I never thought this thread would see the light of day. :)
