Daaaang. That is a good deal

But music technology has moved on since then.

I'd do digital recording if I had a really fast laptop, but I don't. Actually, if I could afford a really nice laptop with a firewire interface and some sort of recording software other than audacity, I'd probably get a nice reel to reel.

Plus it was a really good deal, and when I do upgrade to something better, it will still be a nice songwriting tool.

Anyways, it will push me to get the best sounding recordings out of it, which will really increase my skills at EQ'ing, mic placement, mixing, etc.

Also, it enables me to do live recordings and gives me the ability to remix afterwards.

i've got one of those laying around somewhere. great tool if you ask me.
