It's gonna be a pile of bullshit, as always with these makeovers.

i say it's it's going to be great, because most of the usual writers and directors got pulled out of the show and into the movie project so it doesn't end up sucking, the result was, the show now sucks.

also, knowing their first attempt at a simpsons movie was the kamp krusty episode makes me feel a little more at ease.

I'm anxiously awaiting it.

have their vhs' labeled "The Simpson's."

The same people usually have a Piers Anthony or C.S. Lewis book in the house, and of course, they are also likely to have J.R.R. Tolkien and Anne Rice.

i saw that teaser when i went to see x-men 3, it did make me laugh.

i watch the simpsons daily, its sad i know but i love it. not like i love six feet under, the simpsons is just a good show etc etc etc.

Has anyone heard if they are cancelling the show?

The Simpsons stopped being funny awhile ago, its still amusing but considering how monumentally fucking ace it was (and still is when you see the older episodes from before about 4 years ago) its just kind of disappointing, i remember the first time I saw an episode (the one where they lose their house to carnyies) and thought 'thats just not funny' it still brings a tear to my eye when I think back, especially now the nights are drawing in.

The new series of Futurama however has me giddy, Im literally gonna be rocking back and forth hugging my knees till its aired and then I'll sit four inches from the telly with a gaping grin.

I forgot who they said was going to make a guest appearance on the show.

they have a contract that extends to 2008 for their 19th season, and i would bet FOX will give them 2 more after that to break the all time series run, and considering the other shows FOX makes now, they should hold on until they are gone


thats the thing i hear a lot about the simpsons, 4 years ago was the end of the mike scully era, a time when simpsons was deserving of being canceled, but as soon as it ended, al jean became the executive producer, they had a massive creative reemergence, and made season 15 the best since the classic era ended in the 7th season, the last 2 seasons have been quite solid as a whole, and the new season looks quite solid so far

which reminds me to watched the last one I recorded it.

Not really THAT interested in seeing it. Seeing where the show has gone, I have very low expectations.

yeah, ill go see it. But more because one of my friends loves the simpsons and if i see it, ill know how it was and be able to talk about it.
