What guitars did Clapton use in the 60's?
 

I saw this fucking awesome gibson in some guitar magazine and it said it was a clapton reissue or somethin like that, and now I can't find it anywhere online. Please help me! Tell me some site where I can find Clapton gibsons. I know it wasnt a SG. Possibly a Les Paul. I'm guessing he used it in his days with Bluesbreakers/Cream.

it is really cool. they make reissues of it, but they don't look right.

they probably just grab stock sg bodies and paint them, say they are clapton reissues and are done with.

everyone knows that clapton used his signature digitech crossroads pedal in the 60s to create many of his very personal tones,

i've never seen a clapton sg, i've seen the crap yuppie clapton stratocasters.

yeah but you know. it's not the same.

Clapton also used a Gibson 335 at times during Cream and Blind Faith. I thought he got some of his best tones for his style on it.

he also had a tele custom, not sure how long, before he traded it for Andy Summer's Les Paul.
